OK Let us look at the chart overview Western Astrology classic style reading.

1) Ascendant is Aquarius with ruling planets Saturn exhalted in Libra in the 8th and Uranus in Scorpio in the ninth.

2) Sun is in Libra, ruling planet Venus ( in detriment) in the ninth house in Scorpio.

3) Moon sits in Virgo in the 7th house

4) Main Chart Characteristics:

a) The collection of planets in the 8th house in Libra. You will have to decide for yourselves whether this constitutes a stellium. Personally I would say not as the orbs are too wide.

b) A t-square Chiron/Venus/Mars - If you accept aspects to the ascendant we actually have a FIXED Grand Cross!

c) A Yod Chiron/Neptune/Pluto. The yod is exact 22 degrees/23/22

d) Other than the inconjunct Chiron to Neptune the closest aspect is a square from Mercury to the Nodes.

I also note that the tension aspects in this chart are helped by trines and sextiles which help to deflect the negative energies. Moon is the only planet in Earth signs so 'grounding' might be a problem - a lack of practicality and rather too much mental/philosophising is one reading of this lack of placements.

So we start to see a pattern emerging.

Libra is about 'seeking balance' and is associated with artistic skills of one kind or another. This chart could be multi-talented in artistic ability, but we do have a Scorpionic/8th house influence which can mean that the artistic light is hidden from public view or expresses itself in a darker, more intense way. The 8th house gets a bad
'rap' because it is seen as a house of death, but the 8th house is death and re-birth aka regeneration and re-invention, plus an ability to deal with 'other people's money' - the associations are property ( real estate in the US ), wills, legacies and trust funds. I also like this description: "the transmutation of emotional stress into spiritual power". Given this Scorpionic association we get someone who JUDGES, both themselves and others. Many Scorpio-emphasis people cannot cope with this self-judement or live up to the superhuman rules they set themselves or others, and so we get a Scorpionic decline into substance abuse. One keyword is 'separation', and IF this type gets into a downward spiral they tend to cut themselves off from any help and reject the World. Scorpio is about the depths of humanity but it is also, in its highest vibration, about the heights to which mankind can reach and achieve.

Libra is an Air sign, and with the Aquarian ascendant we get a COMMUNICATOR. With Mercury on the ninth cusp I would expect great ability in foreign study and foreign languages. Venus in the ninth almost guarantees success in higher education. This is the house of the Higher Mind - religion, spirituality and philosophy. Aquarius is communication with large groups rather than individuals in a spirit of humanitarianism; Libra is communication with smaller groups and bringing harmony to difficult situations.

The Moon is in yet another communication SIGN, Virgo, in the 7th house. Using Placidus, though the Moon energies are enveloped as Virgo is enclosed in the seventh house - which means the energies have problems expressing themselves. Mum looks highly critical of her son, and this might be because of health issues from the birth ( Ascendant inconjunct Moon ). Virgo is also about serving others.

OK I have a viral problem - upper chest stuff which is making me feel under the weather. I need to take a break. I will continue this tomorrow. Still lots to think about. I don't really expect feedback - 8th house/Scorpio is highly SECRETIVE!
